Cooked Playdough
Ingredients:
2 cups of plain flour
1 cup of salt
2 tablespoons oil
4 teaspoons cream of
tartar
2 cups of water with colouring added
Instructions:
Mix all the ingredients in non stick saucepan, adding a little water at a time.
Cook over a low heat stirring constantly, until the mixture congeals & leaves the sides of
the saucepan.
Set aside allow to cool, may need to knead in some flour if
mixture is a little sticky.
Microwave
Playdough
Ingredients:
3 cups of plain flour
½ cup of salt
3 tablespoons oil
6 teaspoons cream of
tartar
3 cups of water with colouring added
Instructions:
Mix all the ingredients in a microwave dish.
Cover
& microwave on high for about seven minutes, stirring half way through. Knead when cool.
Goop
Ingredients :
1
packet cornflour
1 cup water
Instructions:
Mix Cornflour with water a little at a time so there are no lumps.
Put the goop into a large tray or bowl for children to play with.
NB:
Goop has an extraordinary texture. As yo touch its surface, goop feels solid. Then feel your fingers slowly sink. Drip it
on to dark paper to make squiggly designs. Use combs or forks to swirl patterns through goop.
Slime
Ingredients:

cup of soap flakes
2 litres of warm water
Instructions:
Dissolve soap flakes
in warm water. To ensure they are fully dissolved, whisk with eggbeaters (makes an interesting bubble effect). Stand for about
twenty minutes until thick. Put slime in baby bath or water tray for children to play with. Add equipment to pour, scoop &
slop the slime. Try various kitchen utensils.
Bubble Mix
Ingredients:
1 part glycerine
3 parts detergent (not coconut based)
10 parts water
Instructions:
Use anything with an enclosed hole, as a bubble ring twisted wire, pipe cleaners, old keys, straws...........
